Lab reports

Each value next to its range.

Lab reports are written for doctors. Zyva shows what is in range first and marks what is worth a look, so you can talk it through with your doctor.

  • In range first

The Today screen starts with how many values are in range. Values outside the lab range are marked, so you can bring them up at your next appointment.

  • See how a value changes

Add another report and Zyva shows the trend for each value across your reports.

  • Your report in a few lines

A short summary in English, German or Russian. It is written by AI and explains, it does not diagnose.

113lab markers in 22 categoriesplus 14 computed metrics

Works with PDFs and photos of lab reports from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. German and English reports work best.

Information only. Not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before you act on a value.

Sample report

Fictional data

Alex, 38. Not a real person. Example Lab, 1 February 2026

Your report in a few lines

Most of Alex’s values are in range, including blood sugar, thyroid and HDL cholesterol. Three are outside the lab range: vitamin D and ferritin are low, LDL cholesterol is high. They are worth talking through with a doctor, who knows the whole picture.

Tap a value to see its range, what it means and what you could ask your doctor.

Worth a look

  • Vitamin D (25-OH)18.7 nmol/LBelow the lab range
    Value
    18.7 nmol/L
    Lab range
    50 to 125 nmol/L

    Vitamin D (25-OH): 18.7 nmol/L, lab range 50 to 125 nmol/L

    What it is

Vitamin D (25-OH) shows how much vitamin D is available in the blood. Sun, food and absorption all play a part, and values are often lower in winter.

    Questions for your doctor
    • Should we test this again, and when?
    • Could the season, my diet or my medicines play a part?
  • Ferritin14 µg/LBelow the lab range
    Value
    14 µg/L
    Lab range
    30 to 200 µg/L

    Ferritin: 14 µg/L, lab range 30 to 200 µg/L

    What it is

Ferritin shows how much iron the body has stored. Food, absorption and other factors affect it.

    Questions for your doctor
    • What could explain a low value for me?
    • Is a repeat test useful?
  • LDL cholesterol3.69 mmol/LAbove the lab range
    Value
    3.69 mmol/L
    Lab range
    below 3.0 mmol/L

    LDL cholesterol: 3.69 mmol/L, lab range below 3.0 mmol/L

    What it is

LDL cholesterol is one of the fats carried in the blood. Food, exercise and family history all play a part, and doctors read it together with other values.

    Questions for your doctor
    • How does this value fit with my other results?
    • Should we look at it again in a few months?

In range

  • HDL cholesterol1.56 mmol/LIn range
    Value
    1.56 mmol/L
    Lab range
    1.0 to 2.5 mmol/L

    HDL cholesterol: 1.56 mmol/L, lab range 1.0 to 2.5 mmol/L

    What it is

HDL cholesterol is another fat carried in the blood. In this example it has stayed near 1.56 since July 2025.

    Questions for your doctor
    • Do I need to repeat this test?
  • HbA1c5.4 %In range
    Value
    5.4 %
    Lab range
    below 5.7 %

    HbA1c: 5.4 %, lab range below 5.7 %

    What it is

HbA1c reflects the average blood sugar of the last two to three months.

    Questions for your doctor
    • How often does it make sense to test this?
  • TSH1.8 mU/LIn range
    Value
    1.8 mU/L
    Lab range
    0.4 to 4.0 mU/L

    TSH: 1.8 mU/L, lab range 0.4 to 4.0 mU/L

    What it is

TSH is a hormone that tells the thyroid how much to work. Labs use it as a first look at the thyroid.

    Questions for your doctor
    • Do I need any other thyroid values?
  • Vitamin B12412 pg/mLIn range
    Value
    412 pg/mL
    Lab range
    200 to 900 pg/mL

    Vitamin B12: 412 pg/mL, lab range 200 to 900 pg/mL

    What it is

Vitamin B12 is a vitamin the body needs for blood cells and nerves. It comes mostly from animal foods.

    Questions for your doctor
    • Does my diet affect this value?
  • Magnesium0.86 mmol/LIn range
    Value
    0.86 mmol/L
    Lab range
    0.75 to 1.05 mmol/L

    Magnesium: 0.86 mmol/L, lab range 0.75 to 1.05 mmol/L

    What it is

Magnesium is a mineral the body needs for muscles and nerves. Most of it sits in bones and cells, so the blood value shows only a small part.

    Questions for your doctor
    • Is the blood value enough to judge this?

This sample shows 8 of 33 example values. Information only. Not medical advice.

How it works

From report to everyday language.

Look around with example data first. You create an account only when you add your own data.

  1. Look around first

Zyva opens with example data from a fictional person, marked on every screen. No account needed.

The example data ribbon and the example profile of Alex, 38, not a real person.
  2. Add your report

Upload a PDF or a photo. Zyva reads the values and marks the ones it is unsure of. Reading can make mistakes, so compare the values with your printed report.

The card for adding your own lab report as a PDF or photo, which needs an account.
  3. Understand each value, then the trend

See each value next to the range your lab printed: first the latest, then how it changes across reports.

HDL cholesterol at 1.56 mmol/L, in range, with the lab range 1 to 2.5 shown as a bar.

Supplements

Scan and check supplements.

Scan the barcode or photograph the label. Zyva shows the ingredients and a product score from 0 to 10.

  • Nothing is saved without you

You see a card first and decide with a tap.

  • A score with a published method

A 0 to 10 product score for ingredients, doses, quality, value and safety, built for supplements after studying how food is rated. Your lab results are not part of it. How we score

  • Not in the catalogue yet?

Photograph the label and Zyva reads the ingredients.

We don’t sell supplements.

Brands can’t pay for a score. No shop, no commissions.

Information only. Not medical advice. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you start, stop or combine supplements and medicines.

Ask Zyva

Answers in everyday language, by AI.

Ask about your report. Zyva explains terms, shows which of your values it used and helps you prepare questions for your doctor.

  • Based on your report

Answers refer to the values in your report and show which ones they used.

  • Clear limits

Ask Zyva does not diagnose, does not suggest doses and does not recommend treatments or products.

You are chatting with an AI. Answers are generated automatically, can contain mistakes and are not medical advice.

Request beta access
Ask Zyva with a sample conversation written in advance: a question about a ferritin value of 14 and an answer that explains it and suggests asking a doctor.

Health Vault

Your key is created on your phone.

When you set up your Health Vault, its key is made on your phone, and the app locks with Face ID, Touch ID or a code. If you turn on Cloud Backup, we store only an encrypted copy of the key, which we cannot open.

Stays on your phone

  • Your vault key. We keep an encrypted copy only if you turn on Cloud Backup.
  • Your app lock. Zyva never receives your face or fingerprint data.

Processed on our servers

  • Your reports and their values, so Zyva can read and explain them.
  • Your questions to Ask Zyva and the values they use, to write an answer with AI.
  • Your account and records are stored in the EU. The providers that help read reports, and where they process, are listed in our privacy policy.
  • No ads. No tracking. We don’t sell your data.
  • Delete your account in the app. You have 72 hours to change your mind.
  • Lab values encrypted with your own key are on our roadmap, under Later.

About

Why we build Zyva.

A lab report usually arrives as a page of numbers with a few flags. The appointment to talk it through is short, and searching online late at night rarely helps.

We build Zyva for that moment: one calm place that explains your values in your language and helps you prepare for your next appointment. We start small, show real screens and label everything that is not ready yet.

The Zyva team at make.health

A small team

  • Founder and CEOProduct and strategy
  • CTOMobile, backend and health data
  • Medical advisorLaboratory medicine and regulation
  • Advisory boardRegulation, labs and growth

We introduce the people behind these roles when Zyva launches publicly.

What Zyva is not

  • Not a doctor, and not a diagnosis.
  • Not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 112.
  • Not a supplement shop.
  • Not in the App Store or on Google Play yet.

Questions

Cost, medical use, lab reports, supplements, your data and the beta.

What does Zyva cost?

Zyva is free during the beta. There are no in-app purchases. If we introduce paid features later, we will tell you before anything changes.

Is Zyva a medical device?

No. Zyva is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it does not replace advice from a doctor. Talk to your doctor before you make any decision about your health. In an emergency, call 112.

Where is my data stored and processed?

Your account and records are stored in the EU. To read a report and answer your questions, our servers process its contents, with help from AI providers. The providers we use, and where they process, are listed in our privacy policy.

What does the Health Vault protect?

Your vault key is created on your phone. It locks the app and protects the backup copy of the key, which is encrypted. Your lab values are not encrypted with this key yet: our servers read them so Zyva can show and explain them. Encrypting lab values with your own key is on our roadmap, under Later.

Which lab reports work?

PDFs and photos of lab reports from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. German and English reports work best. Zyva knows 113 lab markers in 22 categories, plus 14 computed metrics. Reading can make mistakes: Zyva marks the values it is unsure of, so compare them with your printed report.

What if my supplement is not found?

Our catalogue starts with more than 85,000 products from the NIH label database, most of them sold in the US. Many products from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are not in it yet. Photograph the label and Zyva reads the ingredients.

How is the supplement score calculated?

The score from 0 to 10 looks at ingredients, doses, quality, value and safety notes. Your lab results are not part of it yet. We don’t sell supplements, and brands can’t pay for a score. Read how we score.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings, Danger zone, Delete account. You have 72 hours to change your mind. Without the app, follow the steps on Delete your account.

What happens to my data if make.health is ever sold?

We don’t sell health data. If make.health were ever sold or merged, the promises in our privacy policy would still apply to your data, and we would tell you in advance so you could delete your account first.

Is my beta data kept?

Yes. Beta testers use the same servers as the app will at launch, and your data stays in your account until you delete it. If a beta change ever affects your data, we tell you first.

Who can join the beta?

People aged 16 and over with an iPhone or an Android phone. We start in Europe, with Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Austria and Switzerland, and invite testers in small groups.

When will Zyva be in the App Store and on Google Play?

We give dates only when we can keep them. Request beta access and we will write to you when there is news.
